Chrissie Mayr is a comedian, producer, and writer recognized for her work across various media platforms, including podcasts and television appearances. After refining her comedic skills through improv programs at Upright Citizens Brigade and Magnet Theater, following an internship at ‘Late Night with Conan OBrien’ during her college years, Chrissie Mayr went on to write, produce, and perform in her critically acclaimed one-woman show, ‘Hope,’ which enjoyed a nine-week run at the Magnet Theater. Her career in stand-up comedy officially launched in 2010 with her debut at Comix in downtown NYC. Mayr quickly became a prominent figure in the comedy festival circuit, performing at notable events such as the Women in Comedy, Laughing Skull, and Cape Fear comedy festivals.
She notably portrayed Greta Thunberg in ‘In Hot Water’ (2019) and appeared in ‘We the Internet TV’ (20192020). Her comedic acting continued with performances as Frosk in ‘Frosk Rap-Chrissie Mayr (Friday Night Tights)’ (2022) and as Frosk – Host in ‘Froskast’ (2022). Looking ahead, Mayr is slated to appear as an actress in ‘The Big Questions with Big John’ in 2025.
