Christian Vasquez

Christian Oliver B. Vazquez, born on February 8, 1977, is a Filipino actor and model from Bacolod. He graduated from high school at the University of St. La Salle-Integrated School in Bacolod City in 1994. Vasquez gained significant public recognition early in his career through a popular PLDT television commercial. This commercial, which featured a father from Iloilo encouraging his son to pursue his passion in fine arts over medicine, resonated with audiences due to its Ilonggo and Tagalog dialogue. The tagline “Kung saan ka masaya te suportahan ta ka” (I will support you, wherever you are gonna be happy with) became widely known, contributing to his initial popularity.

His career further developed with appearances in numerous television series and films. He became a housemate on ABS-CBN’s reality series Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition. He was the second housemate to be officially evicted on March 4, 2006, receiving 13.5% of the public’s vote. His acting portfolio includes roles in films such as “Minsan Pa” and “Kristo.” On television, he has appeared in prominent drama series including “Hiram” and “Princess and I.” In recent years, Christian Vasquez has continued to be active in the entertainment industry, taking on roles in projects like “Voltes V: Legacy” (2023) and “Padyak Princess” (2024), demonstrating a consistent career in acting across various platforms.
