Joel Fry

Born in London in 1985, Joel Fry pursued his acting education at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), graduating in 2005 with a BA in Acting. Since completing his studies, Fry has established a consistent career in the entertainment industry, contributing to numerous productions in the United Kingdom and America. His early career saw him taking on various roles in British television, developing his craft and gaining recognition.

Fry rose to prominence through his appearances in popular television series and films. He is recognized for his role as Hizdahr zo Loraq in the HBO series “Game of Thrones” (2014–2015), where he appeared in 8 episodes. His versatility is also evident in his work on British sitcoms such as “White Van Man” (2011–2012), “Trollied” (2011–2013), and “Plebs” (2013–2016). In film, he has featured in major productions, including “10,000 BC” (2008), “Yesterday” (2019), and most notably as Jasper Badun in Disney’s “Cruella” (2021). Fry is also a musician, proficient on several instruments, primarily the guitar, and was a member of the band Animal Circus.

Recent projects include a main role as Frenchie in the HBO series “Our Flag Means Death” (2022–2023) and starring as Hugh in the Netflix film “Bank of Dave” (2023).
