Christina Applegate is an American dancer and actress knownfor performing across film, television and stage. Best known for her portrayalof Kelly Bundy in Fox Network’s hit series Married…With Children, she’s alsoenjoyed starring roles in comedies Anchorman and Bad Moms. Applegate’s eleven-yearportrayal of Kelly Bundy in the massively successful sitcom, Married… withChildren made her household name. Her later appearance on Friends as Amy Green,Jennifer Aniston’s on-screen sister, won her critical praise and furtherpopularity.
In 1995, Applegate featured in three films: Vibrations,Across the Moon and Wild Bill and the following year she went on to work withcritically acclaimed director Tim Burton on the iconic cult classic MarsAttacks! Not long after, Applegate was cast in the action-comedy The Big Hitand Jane Austen’s Mafia. She later returned to television after landing the titularrole in hit NBC sitcom Jesse, earning a People’s Choice Award for FavouriteFemale Performer in a New TV series and the TV Guide Award for Star of a NewSeries, in addition to a Golden Globe nomination.
