Rhona Mitra

Striking British beauty Rhona Mitra is a vibrant television and film star. Perhaps best known for playing Sonja in Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, Mitra has built an astonishing career. Born and raised in Paddington, London, Mitra first gained prominence as Scott Wolf’s illicit love interest in Party of Five. But it is with Eidos Interactive’s Tomb Raider video game series that Mitra gained notoriety. She appeared as the live-action model of Lara Croft, which would later earn Mitra the number 46 spot on Maxim’s Hot 100 Women list. Over the years, Mitra has become a master of her craft. She has released two studio albums, starred in a host of TV series and films, and shows no signs of slowing down.

Cast as Tara Wilson, Mitra earned high praise for her performance in the acclaimed crime-dramedy series Boston Legal. Her star turn earned her a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. Later, Mitra picked up a Scream Award nomination for Best Actress for her scene-stealing appearance in Underworld: Rise of the Lycans.
