About

Yasmine Bleeth was born on June 14, 1968, in New York City. Her early career began at a young age, appearing in a Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo television commercial at 10 months old in 1969. At the age of 6, she appeared on “Candid Camera” and was featured in a Max Factor cosmetic advertising campaign alongside model Cristina Ferrare. This led to her inclusion with her mother in fashion photographer Francesco Scavullo’s book, “Scavullo Women.” In 1980, at 12 years old, Bleeth secured her first film role opposite Buddy Hackett in “Hey Babe!”

Bleeth’s television career began to solidify in 1985 when she was cast as Ryan Fenelli on the daytime soap opera “Ryan’s Hope,” a role she held until the show’s conclusion in 1989. After a period of personal reflection following her mother’s passing, she took on the role of LeeAnn Demerest on another daytime soap opera, “One Life to Live.” Her career escalated with her casting as Caroline Holden on “Baywatch” in 1993, a role that brought her widespread recognition and led to her being named one of People magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People in 1995. She remained a fixture in popular culture, appearing in FHM’s “100 Sexiest Women in the World” list from 1996 to 2001.

From 1998 to 2000, Bleeth expanded her television work by playing Inspector Caitlin Cross on “Nash Bridges.” Following this, she took a starring role in the series “Titans” in 2000. Her acting continued with various television films and series, and she made a return to the screen in the 2003 television film “Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding.” After a hiatus, Bleeth made a comeback with the independent comedy “Whack the Don.”
