Yasmine Bleeth

Yasmine Bleeth gained widespread international recognition for her iconic role as Caroline Holden on the hit series Baywatch, which she joined in 1993. Her early career began years prior, appearing in a Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo television commercial in 1969. At age six, she was featured on Candid Camera and also participated in a Max Factor cosmetic advertising campaign alongside model Cristina Ferrare. This led to her inclusion with her mother in fashion photographer Francesco Scavullo’s book, Scavullo Women.

Bleeth secured her first film role in 1980, starring opposite Buddy Hackett in Hey Babe!. She solidified her television presence in 1985, joining the cast of the daytime soap opera Ryan’s Hope as Ryan Fenelli, a role she maintained until the show’s conclusion in 1989. Following this, she took on the role of LeeAnn Demerest in another popular daytime soap opera, One Life to Live, beginning in 1991. Bleeth’s performance on Baywatch from 1993 brought her significant global exposure and led to her being named one of People magazine’s ’50 Most Beautiful People’ in 1995.

After a period away from the screen, Bleeth made a notable return to acting with the independent comedy Whack the Don in 2021. This marked her latest project, highlighting her continued engagement with new roles and productions.
