Christina Hammoud’s career in television began approximately two years prior to 2020, following a period of personal challenge. This experience motivated her to pursue a long-held dream of becoming a TV host. She initiated her journey by creating and editing her first YouTube show, “Miami on a Dime,” which focused on local experiences. This project served as a demo reel, enabling her to secure an internship with a Spanish local show, despite Spanish not being her primary language. Her initial on-camera experience, a screen test for the Spanish show, was met with initial nervousness but quickly transformed into confidence, indicating a natural aptitude for the role. This early success solidified her commitment to the industry.
Following her internship, Hammoud interned with an American National Morning TV Talk show, where she subsequently became a rotational correspondent. In this capacity, she gained valuable experience in producing segments and understanding various behind-the-scenes aspects of television production. She also hosted several Talk Show Demo Reels, some of which were pitched to networks at NAPTE (National Association of Television Program Executives). Her work includes sharing entertainment stories, conducting celebrity interviews, and attending red-carpet events, alongside producing and writing segments. She has collaborated with organizations such as PepsiCo Latin America. Currently, she co-hosts “Dining Divas” on The CW Network, a foodie program that reviews South Florida restaurants, highlighting independent establishments and small businesses.
Beyond her television work, Hammoud is recognized as an influencer and actively creates content across multiple digital platforms. She maintains a Vlog channel on YouTube, a personal blog, and has developed a podcast titled “The Garden Journal with Christina Hammoud,” which was in pre-production as of early 2020 and later launched. Her approach emphasizes continuous self-improvement and leveraging opportunities in the “content creation era” to advance her career. She views herself as her primary competitor, focused on year-over-year progress.
