Christina Pazsitzky was born on June 18, 1976, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, to Hungarian parents who had immigrated from Hungary in 1969. Her family later relocated to Southern California, where she was raised. She pursued higher education at the University of San Francisco, graduating in 1999 with a degree in philosophy. Pazsitzky briefly attended law school at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom before leaving to pursue a career in entertainment. Her television debut came in 1998 as a cast member on MTV’s “Road Rules: Down Under,” marking her entry into the public eye.

Pazsitzky has established herself in the comedy world through various platforms. She is widely recognized for co-hosting the “Your Mom’s House” podcast with her husband, comedian Tom Segura, launched in October 2010. This podcast quickly gained a significant following, receiving over one million downloads per month and earning a nomination for the Stitcher Radio Comedy Award in 2013. She further expanded her podcast presence with “That’s Deep, Bro” and “Where My Moms At?,” which focuses on motherhood topics and features guests like Hila Klein and Alyssa Milano. Her career includes writing and voice-acting for animated projects such as “TV: The Movie” and “Trolls,” where she received Animation Magazine’s “Up and Coming Writer” Award. She also narrated the 2015 documentary “Can We Take a Joke?”

Her stand-up comedy career includes multiple specials and numerous performances globally. Her one-hour Netflix special, “Christina P: Mother Inferior,” premiered in 2017 to positive reviews. This was followed by another Netflix special, “Christina P: Mom Genes,” released in 2022. She has performed at major comedy festivals including Just For Laughs, Sketchfest, and the Aspen Comedy Festival, and has entertained troops in Afghanistan, South Korea, UAE, and Africa. In 2018, Pazsitzky and Segura secured a TV deal with CBS for “The Little Things,” a family comedy project. She has also contributed her comedic commentary to various Vh1 countdown shows, E! Television’s “Wildest TV Moments,” and was a writer and regular on E!’s “Chelsea Lately” and TBS’s “Funniest Wins with Marlon Wayans.”
