Christine Evangelista

Christine Evangelista was born on October 27, 1986, in Staten Island, New York. She pursued her acting education at the Herbert Berghof School of Acting after attending the Michael J. Petrides School in Staten Island. Early in her career, Evangelista gained experience in various off-Broadway productions and appeared in episodes of notable television series. These early television roles provided a foundation for her progression in the industry, allowing her to work across different genres and production scales. Her initial appearances in long-running procedural dramas and other series demonstrated her versatility as an actress.

Evangelista’s career featured recurring and main roles in several television series. In 2007, she held a main role in “The Kill Point” on Spike TV. She also had a series regular role in the ABC drama series “Lucky 7” in 2013, followed by a recurring role as Allison Rafferty in the NBC series “Chicago Fire” in 2014. A significant period in her career began in 2015 when she took on the recurring role of Sherry in AMC’s “The Walking Dead,” appearing in 4 episodes through 2017. Her portrayal of Sherry led to her reprising and expanding the role in the spin-off series “Fear the Walking Dead,” where she held a main role from 2019 to 2023 across 43 episodes.

Simultaneously with her work on “The Walking Dead,” Evangelista secured a lead role as Megan Morrison West in the E! drama series “The Arrangement,” which ran for 20 episodes from 2017 to 2018.
