Christopher Darden is an accomplished attorney, author, and lecturer known for his extensive career in law, including his prominent role in the O.J. Simpson murder trial. After gaining national recognition as a co-prosecutor in the highly publicized murder trial of O. J.

Simpson in 1995, Christopher Darden went on to a multifaceted career as an accomplished attorney, author, and lecturer. Darden earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Hastings in 1980 and passed the California Bar Exam the same year, beginning his legal career at the National Labor Relations Board in Los Angeles. He subsequently joined the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office in the early 1980s, serving in the Huntington Park and Beverly Hills offices before transferring to the Criminal Courts Building in 1983. During his tenure as a prosecutor, Darden served in various units, including central trials and hardcore gang units, eventually transferring to the Special Investigation Division (SID) in February 1988, which led to his significant role in the Simpson trial.

In 2019, Darden took on the high-profile defense of Eric Ronald Holder, Jr., and in 2020, he briefly represented Corey Walker in another significant case.
