Joanna Cindy Veron Miranda, born on November 19, 1990, in Manila, Philippines, laid the groundwork for her career in entertainment and pageantry. She pursued higher education at the University of Santo Tomas, completing her degree in Tourism in 2011 with cum laude honors. Her entry into the public eye began even before her pageantry success, with her participation as a housemate in “Pinoy Big Brother: Unlimited” in 2011. This appearance showcased her initial charisma and provided a foundation for her subsequent roles. Following her reality television stint, Miranda transitioned into hosting, becoming a co-host for the variety game show “Wil Time Bigtime” from 2012 to 2013, demonstrating her ability to engage with a broad audience.

Miranda’s career saw a significant turning point in 2013 when she competed in the Binibining Pilipinas pageant. She was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Tourism 2013, also earning the Binibining Petron and Cream Silk Beyond Beautiful Woman awards. In television, she has appeared in “Ang Panday” (2016), “La Luna Sangre” (2017–2018), “Kagat ng dilim” (2021), and the mini-series “Iskandalo” (2022).
