About

Clarissa Molina was born in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, in 1991. At the age of 15, she moved to New Jersey with her siblings. Her career began in pageantry, where she garnered significant attention. She first participated in Univision’s Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2014, ultimately placing fourth. Displaying persistence, she competed in Miss Dominican Republic in 2015, winning the title and representing her country in the Miss Universe 2015 contest, where she finished in the Top 10. Molina returned to Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2016 for the ‘NBL VIP’ edition, winning the crown and becoming the second Dominican to achieve this title, following Francisca Lachapel.

Following her pageant success, Molina transitioned into a television career. She became a co-host for “El Gordo y la Flaca” (The Scoop and the Skinny), a Univision entertainment news program. In 2018, she received an Emmy for her role as host of the “Rose Parade.” That same year, she entered the acting field, starring in the film “Qué León” alongside urban music singer Ozuna. The film premiered across various territories including the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, the U.S., Europe, Mexico, Panama, and Colombia. She continued her acting career with roles in films like “Que Leones” (2019), “Flow Calle” (2022), “Perdiendo el Juicio” (2024), and “Diario, Mujer & Cafe” (2025).

In 2019, Molina won the dance competition “Mira Quién Baila All Stars” after securing the majority of the audience’s votes. She also hosted the second season of “La Gran Sorpresa” on UniMás and Univision and had a special role during the “Premio Lo Nuestro” music awards. Her contributions to media have resulted in nominations for Premios Soberano in the Dominican Republic as a Renown Communicator abroad and recognition by People en Español magazine on its “50 Most Beautiful” list. She continues to pursue professional development through acting classes and her ongoing work as a TV host and journalist in Miami.
