Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes is a prominent professional wrestler who transitioned from a successful WWE career and independent circuit run to co-founding All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and returning to WWE to achieve top-tier championship status. After becoming an OVW Triple Crown Champion in May 2007, securing the OVW Television Championship, the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship twice, and the OVW Heavyweight Championship, Cody Rhodes made his main roster debut in WWE in July 2007. Adopting the ‘Cody Rhodes’ persona, he quickly achieved success, winning his first World Tag Team Championship with Hardcore Holly in December 2007. His prominence grew as a member of ‘The Legacy’ faction alongside Ted DiBiase Jr.

and Randy Orton, a period during which he earned the World Tag Team Championship twice with DiBiase Jr. in 2008 and competed in main event matches. Following the dissolution of ‘The Legacy’ in 2010, Rhodes continued to evolve, capturing the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship with Drew McIntyre in 2010 and the WWE Intercontinental Championship twice in 2011 and 2012. He further showcased his versatility through various character transformations, including the ‘Dashing’ Cody Rhodes and later the ‘Stardust’ gimmick, before securing the WWE Tag Team Championship twice with Goldust in 2013.

Since then, he has successfully defended the championship multiple times, further adding to his impressive list of accolades. In 2024, he won the WWE Crown Jewel Championship, and in 2025, he was crowned the King of the Ring, demonstrating his enduring dominance in professional wrestling.
