Not even turned 25 yet, Colt McBee has achieved success in more fields than most people ever will in just one. Born and raised in Brady, Texas, Colt grew up with a love and passion for sport, specifically shooting and basketball. Always looking up to his big brother, Remington, he took the shooting route and has been hooked ever since. On top of his incredible sporting achievements thus far, Colt has also found great success as a country singer, having now released three original singles.
The multi-talented youngster debuted his first single in 2017, entitled The One. He followed up with Bonfires and Tailgates featuring Matt Carriker in 2018, and Drinkin’ Over Me in 2020. Now with 55K followers on Instagram, Colt is an established social media sensation and country music star. Whilst juggling both the shooting and the music, he also still attends Schreiner University in Texas, where he studies sports management.
Colt is a 5 time National Shooting Champion, and in 2020 wowed the nation at the US Olympic Team Trials. During the competition he became the second US man in history to hit 125 consecutive targets in a major competition, and finished in third position, earning him a spot on the national team, tying the world record. He admits that if he were to have to choose between his music and shooting, the latter would always win, as he gets to travel with his brother whilst doing it. With his personal coach, 6 time Olympian Kim Rhode, beside him, the future looks incredibly bright for Colt.
