Colt Mccoy

Colt McCoy etched his name in college football history by achieving 45 career wins at the University of Texas at Austin (2005-2009), the most by an FBS quarterback at the time. His exceptional collegiate career also saw him lead his team to a BCS National Championship in 2005 and earn numerous accolades. In 2009, he received the Maxwell Award, Davey O’Brien Award, Manning Award, Chic Harley Award, Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, and Quarterback of the Year. He was a two-time Walter Camp Award winner (2008, 2009) and a two-time Heisman Trophy finalist.

McCoy transitioned to the professional ranks after being selected 85th overall in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns. His extensive 13-season NFL career included tenures with the Cleveland Browns (2010–2012), San Francisco 49ers (2013), Washington Redskins (2014–2019), New York Giants (2020), and Arizona Cardinals (2021–2022). During his time in the league, McCoy accumulated 7,975 passing yards and 34 touchdowns. Notable performances included leading the Washington Redskins to an upset victory over the Dallas Cowboys in 2014, marking his first start for the team since 2011.

In recognition of his profound impact on the sport, McCoy was inducted into the University of Texas Sports Hall of Fame in 2024. Further diversifying his career, McCoy launched a real estate office in Fort Worth, Texas, in early 2025, specializing in industrial leasing for HPI. His post-playing career demonstrates a continued commitment to excellence and leadership across multiple demanding fields.
