The incredible Dan Lowes, who is better known by his stage name D-low, is a talented musician and beatbox artist. He is a multi time UK beatbox champion, and a Grand Beatbox Battle champion, with over 15 years experience. He also specialises in teaching solo, team and loopstation styles of beatboxing through online sessions and at beatboxing camps.

Born and raised in Swindon, Lowes was first inspired to start beatboxing after watching the musician and comedian Beardyman performing it. He set up his own YouTube channel in 2012 and quickly built up a massive following, with over 740k subscribers and 47 million views. His most popular upload was 2020’s 2 MINUTES DUBSTEP BEATBOX INSANITY!!! with a staggering 3.9 million views. He entered his first UK Beatbox Championships in London in 2014 as D-low when he was 17, and went on to win the Under 18s category. Since then he has come first in the UK Beatbox Championships Solo category in 2016, and 2018. He has also won the Solo category at the World Beatbox Classic in China 2018, and the Grand Beatbox Battle in Poland 2019, as well as the SBX Kickback Battle Online in 2021. He has also been part of the winning Tag team at the UK Beatbox Championships in 2017 and 2018.
