Oguzhan Ugur

Oguzhan Ugur was born on January 29, 1984, in Ankara, Turkey. He pursued higher education at Akdeniz University, where he earned a degree in fine arts. During his time at university, Ugur gained practical experience by working as an assistant to notable filmmakers Mustafa Şevki Doğan and Osman Sınav. These early experiences in film laid the groundwork for his future multifaceted career.

His professional career began to take shape in 2011 when he directed and wrote the script for the film “Agir Abi.” This marked his official entry into the film industry, showcasing his skills as both a writer and a director. The following year, in 2012, Ugur released his debut music album, “Çok Şükür,” further expanding his creative portfolio. He continued to release several singles, solidifying his presence in the music scene. In 2014, he directed the music video for Murat Dalkılıç’s song “Leyla,” and subsequently collaborated with Dalkılıç on a duet titled “Mağlubiyet.”

Since 2017, Ugur has significantly expanded his reach into digital media, producing content across various YouTube channels, including “Budabi,” “BaBaLa TV,” and “Onedio.” This venture into online platforms broadened his audience and influence. In 2020, he served as the presenter for the first season of “Exathlon Turkey,” which was distributed on Netflix, further showcasing his versatility as a media personality. His career demonstrates a steady progression from film and music to digital content creation and presenting, highlighting his adaptability and consistent engagement with diverse media formats.
