Dale Murray CBE is a British entrepreneur. Her career first started off working in various positions within corporations in professional services positions. However, her career would take a kickstart when along with a colleague she co-founded a company named ‘Omega Logic’. They would specialise in electronic mobile phone top-up services and became one of the most preferred ‘top up solution providers.
Over the years with the explosion in ownership of mobile phones Omega Logic in just 6 years by 2005 had nearly half billion on its books in top ups processed. She would eventually go on to sell her interests in the company to ‘First Data Corporation’. Following the sale of her share of Omega Logic, Murray would then go on to start her investing career, mainly investing in companies that offered SaaS (Software-As-A-Service), Fintech and many more.
Her successful investments earnt her the title of British Angel Investor of the Year in 2011, presented by the UK Business Angels Association. She also spent a period on the business taskforce for conservation leader David Cameron who is a former prime minister of the United Kingdom. All this success she had gained thus far in her career earned Murray a CBE that was awarded to her by Her Majesty in the Queen for her contributions and services to business. Currently she sits as a partner at Founders Intelligence, which is a digital strategy consultancy. She is also an executive director at Xero, which is a global cloud accounting software provider.
