Dan Soder launched his national comedy presence with frequent appearances on MTV2’s ‘Guy Code’ starting in 2013. His early career also saw guest spots on notable talk shows and podcasts, including Comedy Central’s ‘The Half Hour’ and ‘Conan,’ establishing him as a compelling voice in stand-up. Soder significantly expanded his reach and comedic platform as co-host of ‘The Bonfire’ alongside Big Jay Oakerson on Sirius XM, a role he held from 2015 to 2023. During this impactful tenure, he also began a recurring role as Dudley Mafee on the critically acclaimed Showtime drama series ‘Billions,’ which he continued for seven seasons until 2023, expanding his acting portfolio.
In 2014, Soder’s acting career saw early momentum with guest appearances on ‘Inside Amy Schumer,’ followed by a minor role in Amy Schumer’s 2015 feature film ‘Trainwreck.’ His first hour-long stand-up special, ‘Not Special,’ debuted on Comedy Central in 2016, further solidifying his standing in the comedy landscape. Building on his stand-up success, Soder delivered a 30-minute set for Netflix’s ‘The Standups’ in July 2017, gaining further national exposure. He continued his film work, appearing in the 2019 comedy ‘Drunk Parents’ alongside Alec Baldwin and Salma Hayek. He extended his acting presence with an appearance in the Showtime comedy series ‘Flatbush Misdemeanors’ in 2022.
