JP Karliak

JP Karliak made his voice-acting debut in 2008 with the video game Tom Clancy’s EndWar, marking the beginning of an extensive career in animated productions and video games. Early in his career, Karliak also took on on-screen roles in live-action television series such as Ringer and Real Husbands of Hollywood. His significant voice roles began to proliferate in 2014, with his casting as Wolfgang in the highly successful Skylanders video game series, appearing in Skylanders: Trap Team (2014), Skylanders: SuperChargers (2015), and Skylanders: Imaginators (2016). From 2015 to 2020, Karliak lent his voice to the iconic character Wile E.

Coyote in the New Looney Tunes television series. Continuing his impressive trajectory, Karliak voiced Willy Wonka in the 2017 direct-to-video animated film Tom and Jerry: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. A prominent and sustained role for Karliak has been Boss Baby Theodore Lindsey ‘Ted’ Templeton, Jr., which he voiced in The Boss Baby: Back in Business from 2018 to 2020, and reprised for the sequel series The Boss Baby: Back in the Crib from 2022 to 2023. These roles solidified his reputation as a versatile and in-demand voice talent in children’s and family entertainment.

In 2021, he founded and became President of Queer Vox, a non-profit training academy and community specifically focused on supporting LGBTQIA+ voice talent and championing equitable casting opportunities within the industry. He also co-founded NerdsVote with Courtenay Taylor, an organization connecting pop culture fans to voter registration efforts. Karliak actively promotes LGBTQIA+ representation both on and off screen, underscoring his commitment to social change alongside his prolific creative career.
