After earning widespread acclaim and two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, Dana Delany established herself as a formidable talent on television. Her breakthrough came with the lead role of Army nurse Colleen McMurphy in ABC TV’s critically acclaimed series ‘China Beach’ (19881991), a performance that garnered her four Emmy nominations and two Golden Globe nominations, winning the Emmy in both 1989 and 1992.
