Danica McKellar is an American actress and inspirationalmathematics author, best known for her portrayal of Winnie Cooper in thepopular television series The Wonder Years, and for her starring role inNetflix series Project Mc2. In her teens, McKellar landed a prominent role inABC’s comedy-drama series The Wonder Years, for which she was nominated for twoYoung Artist Awards. Her role in the Wonder Years led to several other castingsin television, including the Moment of Truth, Cradle of Conspiracy, Justice forAnnie, Crown for Christmas, My Christmas Dream and Campfire Kiss.

In 2001 McKellar wrote, produced and directed the award-winningshort film, Speechless. She then went on to feature in a variety of populartelevision series, including The West Wing, The Big Bang Theory, NYPD Blue,NCIS and How I Met Your Mother. In 2006, McKellar starred in the televisionmovie and web-based series Inspector Mom, before the Sci-Fi Channel later choseher for leading roles in television films Heatstroke and Alfred Hitchcockremake, The Wrong Man.

In addition to her acting work, McKellar has used herexpertise in mathematics to author six inspirational non-fiction books aimed atyoung girls: Math Doesn’t Suck, Kiss My Math, Hot X: Algebra Exposed and GirlsGet Curves: Geometry Takes Shape, Goodnight, Numbers, and Do Not Open This MathBook. In 2015, she was cast by Netflix, in the popular teen series Project Mc2.A talented voice actress, McKellar currently voices the character of JudyJetson in The Jetsons.
