Daniel-André Tande is a distinguished Norwegian ski jumper known for his remarkable achievements in the sport. Born on 24th January 1994, Tande made his World Cup debut on January 11, 2014, in Bad Mitterndorf. He quickly established himself as a formidable competitor, securing his first World Cup victory on November 25, 2015, in Klingenthal, and adding a second win in Garmisch-Partenkirchen on January 1, 2017.
Tande reached a significant milestone in his career during the 2018 Ski Flying World Championships, where he clinched the gold medal in the individual competition, triumphing over renowned athletes Kamil Stoch and Richard Freitag. Just a day later, he and his teammates—Robert Johansson, Johann André Forfang, and Andreas Stjernen—defended their title, winning gold in the team competition. This achievement was complemented by Tande’s success as part of the Norwegian team that won the Olympic gold medal in the team large hill event at the 2018 Pyeongchang Games.
