Daniel LaBelle was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and pursued track in college. He earned a bachelor’s degree in digital media from John Brown University in 2010. Following his graduation, LaBelle established Daniel LaBelle Photography in 2011, focusing his early career on photography.
LaBelle initiated his YouTube channel in 2009, initially posting short-form comedy content. His online presence gained significant momentum in early 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic led to a pause in his photography business. During this period, LaBelle began to focus on creating and uploading comical videos. He achieved notable popularity in July 2021 through the platform YouTube Shorts, where his physical comedy skits resonated with a large audience.
By September 2025, Daniel LaBelle had accumulated over 75 million followers across his various social media platforms. His content, featuring physical comedy and athleticism, has garnered substantial viewership, including a video titled ‘If Cleaning Was a Timed Sport. Part 2’ which achieved 1.6 billion views on YouTube. In 2023, LaBelle was selected as one of eight creators to partner with Pocket.watch, a company focused on children’s entertainment and content creators. His career progression includes a miniseries titled ‘Daniel LaBelle: Full Body Funny’ released on Hulu on February 1, 2025, and recognition in Time magazine’s Top 100 Time Creators of 2025.
