Daniel Logan was born in New Zealand on June 6, 1987. His acting career began at the age of 10 when he was scouted from a children’s rugby team for a television commercial. This initial role involved playing a child knocked into mud by Auckland rugby star Michael Jones. This led to further acting opportunities, including commercials and television appearances. He secured a recurring role in the New Zealand medical drama “Shortland Street” and made a guest appearance in the international series “Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.” Logan also participated in the short film “Falling Sparrows” and provided voice work for the animated series “Tamota” and “Takapu.” His early work also included a part in “The Legend of Johnny Lingo.”
Logan’s most notable achievement came with his casting as young Boba Fett in “Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones” (2002). This role required him to perform extensively with blue and green screen backdrops for special effects sequences. He specifically recalls a sequence where 82 different shots were taken of him for just a few seconds of on-screen clone footage. He later reprised the role of Boba Fett by providing his voice for six episodes of the animated series “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” (2010–2012). His connection to the character continued, appearing as Young Boba Fett through archive footage in two episodes of “The Book of Boba Fett” (2021–2022).
His career also includes roles in “Star Trek Continues” (2014) as Ensign Tongaroa and in the television movie “Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens” (2016) as Captain Fett. In gaming, he voiced Boba Fett in “Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga” (2022). More recently, he provided the voice for Mox in two episodes of “Star Wars: The Bad Batch” (2024). Logan eventually became a naturalized American citizen in 2017 and currently resides in Tustin, California, maintaining his involvement in the entertainment industry.
