Christine Barger is a multi-faceted entertainer, known for her work as an actress, ventriloquist, and social media content creator, offering engaging performances for a diverse range of audiences. After winning the International Junior Ventriloquist Title in 1997 with her puppet, Suzy-Q, Christine Barger went on to establish a multi-faceted career in entertainment. Early in her professional journey, she performed ventriloquism across the Midwest, autonomously managing scriptwriting, promotional activities, and event bookings. Barger then pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor of Science in Theatre from Ball State University in 2003, where she double majored in theatre design and technology and acting.
Her academic pursuits also included immersive theatre studies in London and Los Angeles through exchange programs. Following her graduation, Barger relocated to Los Angeles, swiftly securing her debut film role as Mary in the JCS cast for ‘Along Came Polly’ (2004). Barger expanded her on-screen presence with appearances in films such as ‘Pulse’ (2006) and ‘Made of Honor’ (2008), alongside television roles including ‘Dexter’ (2006) and ‘iCarly’ (2012). Demonstrating her versatile involvement in production, she also served as a casting assistant for several projects in 2012, including ‘Reel Evil’ and ‘Puppet Master X: Axis Rising,’ followed by casting associate and assistant roles for ‘Unlucky Charms’ (2013) and ‘Ooga Booga’ (2013) respectively.
Subsequent television appearances include ‘That White People Shit’ (2020), ‘Digital Sky’ (2020), ‘Superstore’ (2021), and ‘TCG Puppets: Halloween Spooktacular’ (2022). In 2021, Barger extended her entrepreneurial footprint, becoming the owner of Exit Game OC, an immersive escape room located in Anaheim, California, offering unique entertainment experiences. Most recently, she has continued her acting career with notable appearances in acclaimed television series ‘Barry’ (2023) and ‘Night Court’ (2023), solidifying her reputation as a versatile and actively engaged talent in the entertainment industry.
