Young Romanian makeup artist, content creator, and beauty influencer Danielle Marcan has amassed an enormous social media following for her work. In just a few years, she has amassed more than 5 million followers across TikTok and Instagram and has worked with the likes of Huda Beauty. Her TikTok content has been liked an amazing 163 million times and counting and features plenty of tutorials and product recommendations. She has created brilliant tutorials on a wide range of looks but gained particular praise for reinventing the heavy-eyeliner grunge look for the 2020s.
Marcan was born in Romania in September 1998. She relocated to London in 2017 to study Advertising and Digital Marketing at the University of Greenwich. A fan of makeup since she was 12 years old, Marcan began her Instagram account in 2019 and quickly grew her audience on there. After joining TikTok, things got crazy: a video of her applying lip liner notched up more than a million view in just 24 hours. She has been cited as an influencer to follow by the likes of Vogue and Dazed Digital and has also been backed by the likes of Fenty Beauty, Sephora, and KKW Beauty.
