Nikita Nguyen, professionally known as Nikita Dragun, was born on January 31, 1996, in Belgium and grew up in Springfield, Virginia, United States. Of Vietnamese and Mexican descent, she began her gender transition while attending college. Dragun joined YouTube in February 2013 and subsequently recognized the potential of social media for brand collaborations, prompting her to dedicate more effort to Instagram and YouTube. She later relocated to Los Angeles, where she publicly announced her transgender identity in 2015. Over time, she has cultivated a significant online presence, accumulating millions of subscribers and followers across multiple platforms.
In March 2019, Nikita Dragun launched her own makeup line, Dragun Beauty. This brand was developed with a focus on both the mainstream market and the transgender community, offering vegan and cruelty-free products. Her journey as a trans woman was a driving force behind the creation of Dragun Beauty.
