Of Vietnamese and Mexican descent, she began her gender transition while attending college. Dragun joined YouTube in February 2013 and subsequently recognized the potential of social media for brand collaborations, prompting her to dedicate more effort to Instagram and YouTube. She later relocated to Los Angeles, where she publicly announced her transgender identity in 2015.
