Danny Sprinkle is a distinguished American college basketball coach, currently serving as the head coach at the University of Washington. His coaching journey began in 2000 at Cal State Northridge, where he spent six seasons as an assistant coach. During this time, he honed his skills in player development and game strategy, laying a strong foundation for his future coaching endeavors.

After his initial stint at Northridge, Sprinkle returned to his alma mater, Montana State University, as an assistant coach under Brad Huse for two years. He then rejoined Cal State Northridge in 2008, where he contributed to the program for five more seasons. His expertise in coaching was further recognized when he joined Dedrique Taylor’s staff at Cal State Fullerton in 2013, playing a pivotal role in leading the Titans to the NCAA tournament in 2018.

In April 2019, Sprinkle was appointed head coach at Montana State, where he made an immediate impact. He guided the team to a 16-15 record in his first season and achieved remarkable success in the following years, including a school-record 27 wins and back-to-back NCAA tournament appearances.
