After debuting in professional wrestling in 2014 following training at the MCW Training Center, Lio Rush quickly established himself as a dynamic force in the independent circuit. He joined Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) in 2014, where he notably captured the CZW Wired TV Championship in 2015, a title he would go on to hold twice. In the same year, Rush secured the MCW Tag Team Championship alongside Patrick Clark and won the prestigious Shane Shamrock Memorial Cup XV.
His tenure in WWE culminated in 2019 when he made history as the youngest NXT Cruiserweight Champion, holding the title for an impressive 63 days. Following his departure from WWE in 2020, Rush continued to expand his influence across the wrestling world, including signing with Major League Wrestling (MLW) in 2020 and capturing the MLW World Middleweight Championship in 2021. He also secured the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship in 2021.
