David Posen is a best-selling author, speaker and physician. He is one of North America’s leading experts on health and wellness, work-life balance and stress mastery.
Posen graduated from the University of Toronto Medical School back in 1967. He then became involved in a research project in San Francisco before interning in Alberta. Soon after, Posen he spent a year as a general practitioner in the Canadian Arctic before doing the same in Jerusalem for another year. He started a family practice in 1971 in Oakville where he worked for 17 years before leaving to dedicate his career exclusively to lifestyle counselling, stress management and psychotherapy.
Posen has written numerous best-selling books, which include The Little Book of Stress Relief, Staying Afloat, Always Change Losing Game and Is Work Killing You? He has also written countless magazine articles which have appeared in several medical journals, as well as Reader’s Digest and Canadian Living. Posen wrote a weekly column on the popular website Canoe on stress and lifestyle management for a year and has also featured numerous times on TV and radio across Canada.
