Desus Nice

Desus Nice is a versatile entertainer known for his sharp wit and commentary across television, podcasts, and digital platforms. After gaining prominence alongside The Kid Mero with the ‘Desus vs. Mero’ podcast on Complex TV from 2013 to 2014, Desus Nice went on to establish himself as a versatile entertainer across television, podcasts, and digital platforms. Prior to his rise in entertainment, Desus Nice honed his commentary skills, contributing as a small business columnist for Black Enterprise until 2014.

His foundational collaboration with The Kid Mero continued to flourish with the launch of the long-running ‘Bodega Boys’ podcast in 2015, which captivated audiences until its conclusion in 2022. Desus Nice’s transition to television began in 2015, when he joined MTV’s ‘Guy Code’ for its fifth season. This led to further appearances on other MTV programs such as ‘Uncommon Sense’ and ‘Joking Off,’ solidifying his distinctive dynamic and comedic style. This period paved the way for significant opportunities in late-night television, culminating in the co-hosting role of ‘Desus & Mero.’ The critically acclaimed show first premiered on Viceland in October 2016, running for two successful years until June 2018.
