Diamond Dallas Page began his influential career in professional wrestling as a manager for the American Wrestling Association (AWA), guiding Badd Company to the AWA World Tag Team Championship in 1988. He managed other prominent wrestlers within his ‘Diamond Exchange’ stable before joining World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1991. Initially a manager, Page soon transitioned to an in-ring competitor, establishing his signature ‘Diamond Cutter’ finishing move. He secured his first championship, the WCW World Television Championship, at Fall Brawl (1995).
He made a surprise in-ring return in the Royal Rumble match (2015) and competed in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32 (2016). In recognition of his illustrious career, Diamond Dallas Page was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017. His autobiography, ‘Positively Unstoppable: The Art of Owning It,’ was released in 2019. Page continued his involvement in the professional wrestling landscape with an appearance on AEW programming at Double or Nothing in 2019, followed by his final in-ring match in 2020, teaming with Dustin Rhodes and Q.T.
Marshall at Bash at the Beach. Diamond Dallas Page actively supports fellow wrestlers through his DDP Yoga program. In 2024, he signed a Legends contract with WWE and is slated to induct Lex Luger into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2025, solidifying his venerated legacy.
