Diego Boneta

Diego Boneta is an actor, producer, musician, and author, recognized for his starring role in Netflix’s “Luis Miguel: The Series” and for producing a major new spy series with Amazon. He has established a career across film, television, and music, earning critical acclaim and engaging in strategic brand collaborations. After earning critical acclaim for his starring role in New Line’s jukebox musical Rock of Ages (2012), where he starred opposite Tom Cruise and Julianne Hough, receiving CinemaCon’s ‘Rising Star of the Year’ and an ALMA Award for best actor, Diego Boneta established a versatile career across film, television, and music. His professional journey began with participation in Mexico’s ‘Código Fama’ (2002), followed by roles in Mexican telenovelas such as Rebelde (2005-2006).

Further demonstrating his producing prowess, he executive produced and starred in Killing Castro (2024). In 2024, Boneta starred in the Amazon Prime series ¿Quién lo mató?, quickly reaching the #1 spot in Mexico. He also served as the Lexus Mexico Voice from 2023 to 2024. Boneta continues to diversify his creative endeavors, currently producing and starring in a new Amazon spy series.

He is also actively filming and executive producing the upcoming series El Gato, slated for 2025.
