DJ Wellnez

Kyle Wellner, also known as DJ Wellnez, initiated his DJ career during his freshman year at Duke University in 2013. His initial engagements involved performing at college events and local bars. This period marked the beginning of his professional development as a disc jockey, leading to subsequent performances across the Eastern United States. He graduated from Duke University in 2017 with a major in Public Policy Studies, along with minors in History and a certificate in Markets and Management.

Over time, DJ Wellnez expanded his professional engagements to include opening for established musical acts. His performances have supported artists such as The Two Friends, Waka Flocka Flame, Sammy Adams, and Walshy Fire of Major Lazer. These collaborations indicate his integration into various segments of the music industry. Concurrently, he has developed a focus on music production, specifically creating remixes and original tracks. This shift demonstrates a progression from live performance to also developing his own music catalog.

Outside of his musical pursuits, Wellner held a position as Vice President at Papamarkou Wellner, where he focused on client management and business development, starting in March 2020. This role reflects his engagement in business operations in addition to his creative career. His continued active involvement in music, including maintaining a website for merchandise and event information, illustrates his sustained commitment to his career as DJ Wellnez.
