Award-winning Kirsty Meakin is world’s most renowned nail artist. The winner of over 100 prizes including Nail Artist of the Year, UK Nail Professional of the Year and Social Media Star of the Year for 2021, her innovative nail creations have been exhibited at London’s Victoria and Albert museum art gallery. Meakin is one of the most followed beauty experts online, with over a million subscribers across YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, and her videos have been viewed more than 5 million times on YouTube.
Recognised around the globe for her 3D and freehand nail art skills, she has also branched out on her own to provide a wide range of courses for qualified nail technicians who want to push their own skills further, and has expanded her Kirsty Meakin Brand to include a Gel Polish System, clothing line and much more. Meakin has created nails for numerous celebrities including pop stars Eliza Doolittle and Natasha Hamilton, and has worked on London Fashion Week.
Born in Stoke-on-Trent, England, Meakin uncovered her creative powers and talent at a Youth Training Scheme over 20 years ago as a 17 year old, and built her career by winning international nail art competitions with her hugely creative work. Her first competition entry was a set of Moulin Rouge themed nails for a competition in Manchester, and since then the advancement of nail products has allowed her to explore her passion and ability for nail art even further.
