Duane “Dog” Chapman, known as Dog the Bounty Hunter, is an American television personality and former bail bondsman. He gained international recognition for his work in bounty hunting, starring in multiple reality TV series, and has transitioned into motivational speaking and ministry. After gaining international attention on June 18, 2003, for the high-profile capture of Max Factor heir Andrew Luster in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman catapulted into the public eye. This significant achievement, executed with his son Leland and associate Tim Chapman, led to the development of his groundbreaking reality television series, ‘Dog the Bounty Hunter.’ The show premiered on A&E on August 30, 2004, and became a cultural phenomenon, documenting Chapman’s experiences as a bail bondsman and bounty hunter for eight successful seasons until its conclusion in 2012.

This series further cemented his enduring appeal and commitment to his profession.
