Duncan McKenzie is a former professional footballer who transitioned into a career as a newspaper columnist and an after-dinner speaker, sharing insights from his extensive sports career. After scoring an impressive 26 goals for Nottingham Forest during the 1973-74 season and playing a significant role in their FA Cup run, including a notable performance against Manchester City in January 1974, Duncan McKenzie went on to establish himself as a prolific striker in English football. McKenzie began his professional career with Nottingham Forest in 1969, featuring for the club until 1974, with loan spells at Mansfield Town during the 1969-1970 and 1972-1973 seasons. His standout performance in 1973-74 led to his transfer to Leeds United.
