Dylan Minnette has established a career in acting, spanning television and film projects, concurrently pursuing a passion for music as co-lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the band Wallows. After securing his first notable television role portraying a young Charlie Sheen in Two and a Half Men (2005), Dylan Minnette quickly established himself as a versatile talent across television and film, while simultaneously forging a successful music career. The same year, he appeared in an episode of Drake & Josh, followed by recurring roles as young Michael Scofield on Prison Break (2005-2006), David on Lost (2010), Clay Norman on TNT’s Saving Grace (2007-2010), and Reed on Men of a Certain Age (2010-2011). His extensive early television work also included appearances in Mad TV (2006), Grey’s Anatomy (2007), Ghost Whisperer (2008), Rules of Engagement (2008), The Mentalist (2008), Supernatural (2009), Medium (2010), Lie to Me (2011), and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2012).
The band, initially known as ‘The Feaver,’ achieved early success by winning a 98.7 FM battle of the bands contest in 2010 and performing at the Vans Warped Tour in 2011. Wallows released their debut album, Nothing Happens, in 2019, followed by the EP Remote in 2020 and the album Tell Me That It’s Over in 2022. Wallows continued its momentum with a performance at the renowned Coachella music festival in 2022 and released their highly anticipated third studio album, Model, in 2024. After a period prioritizing his musical endeavors, Minnette has indicated a renewed interest in pursuing further acting projects, positioning him as a compelling talent for upcoming film and television productions.
