Clive Tyldesley

Clive Tyldesley is an iconic sports broadcaster, lending his distinctive voice to major football events across BBC, ITV, and CBS Sports, and leading UEFA Champions League coverage in the United States. After establishing his distinctive voice as Head of Sport at Radio City in Liverpool, where he notably commentated on four European Cup finals and reported live on the Heysel Stadium disaster in 1985, Clive Tyldesley made his television debut with ITV during the 1986 FIFA World Cup. He subsequently joined Granada full-time in 1989, swiftly ascending to become their main football commentator by 1990, succeeding Martin Tyler.
