About

Dylan Ratzlaff was born and raised in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada, starting dance classes at the age of three due to her energetic personality. She trained extensively in various dance forms including jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, ballet, hip hop, tap, circus, tumbling, and acro. This early immersion in dance led to commercial work, which in turn opened the door to acting. She developed a passion for storytelling through performance, seeking out projects that are inspiring and impactful.

Ratzlaff began her professional dance career with notable projects such as Disney Channel’s “Descendants 3” and “A Cinderella Story: Christmas Wish.” Her acting debut came with CBC’s “The Next Step” as ‘Jacquie,’ a role she held from 2017 to 2021 across 51 episodes. Her career steadily progressed with television appearances on ABC’s “A Million Little Things” in 2022 and Lifetime’s “Doomsday Mom” in 2021. In 2021, she also appeared in Netflix’s “Honey Girls.”

A significant milestone in Ratzlaff’s acting career was her lead role as ‘Rachel’ in Lifetime’s 2022 film “An Amish Sin.” This role, inspired by true events, allowed her to showcase her dramatic range and dedication to impactful storytelling. She further joined the cast of Freeform’s award-winning series “Cruel Summer” for its second season in 2023. Beyond acting, Dylan continues to be involved in the dance world as a teacher and judge for dance competitions across Canada, balancing her dual passions for acting and dance.
