Eda Ece

Eda Ece was born in Istanbul, Turkey, on June 20, 1990. After completing her education at Şişli Terakki High School, she pursued higher education and graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University with a degree in Psychology. Her acting career began in 2011 with the television series “Pis Yedili.” This role marked the start of her journey in the entertainment industry, leading to subsequent appearances in various television projects and films. She is known for her fluent command of German and English, as well as Turkish.

Ece’s career progressed with supporting roles in television projects such as “Beni Böyle Sev” and “İlişki Durumu: Karışık.” She also appeared in films including “Kızım İçin,” “Kocan Kadar Konuş,” “Kocan Kadar Konuş – Diriliş,” “Yol Arkadaşım,” and “Deliha 2.” A significant turning point in her career was her leading role in the 2016 movie “Görümce,” where she co-starred with Gupse Özay and Buğra Gülsoy. She further solidified her reputation with her portrayal of Yildiz Yılmaz in the widely popular television series “Yasak Elma,” which ran from 2018 to 2023 for 177 episodes.

Throughout her career, Eda Ece has received recognition for her acting contributions. She was nominated for Best Movie Actress at the Turkey Youth Awards in 2019 for her role in “Deliha 2.” In 2020 and 2023, she received nominations for Best TV Actress for her work in “Yasak Elma.” A notable achievement came in 2022 when she won the Best Foreign Actress award at the Murex d’Or for “Yasak Elma.” In 2023, she was also nominated for Best Female Presenter for “Kapımdeki Dedektif” at the Pantene Golden Butterfly Awards, showcasing her expanding presence in diverse television formats. Ece is also a passionate animal lover and enjoys traveling.
