Named Defensive MVP of the 2016 College Football Playoff National Championship, Eddie Jackson established himself as a prominent safety in the National Football League. During the championship, Jackson contributed significantly to Alabama’s 4540 victory over Clemson with three tackles and an interception. His collegiate career at the University of Alabama saw him transition from cornerback to safety prior to his junior year in 2015. After returning to play in 11 games in 2014, Jackson played in all 15 games during the 2015 season, tallying 46 tackles and six interceptions.

Later the same year, he transitioned to the Los Angeles Chargers, bringing his proven track record of impactful defensive plays and leadership to new teams within the league.
