Eli Salama

That year, he was named USILA Division III Long-Pole of the Year, Liberty League Defensive Player of the Year, USILA First Team All-American, and All-Liberty League First Team. These achievements swiftly propelled Salama into the professional ranks, where he was drafted 12th overall in the 2018 National Lacrosse League (NLL) draft by the Calgary Roughnecks. Salama made an immediate and impactful debut in the NLL, contributing to the Calgary Roughnecks’ NLL Championship win as a rookie during the 2019 season. His consistent high-level performance was recognized when he was named an alternate captain for the Calgary Roughnecks in 2022.

Concurrently, Salama expanded his professional footprint in outdoor lacrosse, initially playing for the Dallas Rattlers in Major League Lacrosse (MLL) before joining the Chrome Lacrosse Club in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL), where he continues to perform as a long stick midfielder. Demonstrating his elite skill on the international stage, Salama was a key member of the Canadian national team that secured victory at the 2024 World Lacrosse Box Championships. Beyond his athletic achievements, Eli Salama maintains a distinguished professional career in the business sector.
