Elisabetta Canalis

All round performer Elisabetta Canalis is known for her skill as a dancer, actress, model and presenter, having made numerous appearances in Italian and American media.

Canalis has had a glittering career in television, starting out when she was just 21 years old with appearances on the Canale 5 channel in Italy. She was a dancer on the hugely popular show Striscisa La Notizia for three years, before her breakout role in the Italian police soap opera Carabinieri which catapulted her to fame. This led to the young performer being cast in films Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo and Virgin Territory. Audiences soon grew to love her, and she launched her career as a television presenter when she was cast as the host of MTV Italia’s Total Request Live and soon after hosted the Trofeo Birra Moretti in 2008. Canalis’s talents continued to get her cast in bigger and bigger jobs, appearing in Medici Miei in 2008, joining the cast of Leverage in 2010 and being chosen in 2011 to host the biggest talent competition in Italy, the Sanremo Music Festival. Having now established herself as a public figure, she was invited to join the cast of the 13th season of Dancing with the Stars, and has even appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres show.

Beyond her career as a television personality, Canalis has also forged a reputation as a talented model, having appeared on the cover of Vanity Fair three times and worked with major international brands such as Pantene and Roberto Cavalli. This Italian star is now world renowned for both her skill on screen and her beautiful style.
