Eliza Dushku

Eliza Dushku has transitioned from a successful actress with notable roles in television and film to a dedicated therapist and mental health advocate. After being selected from a five-month national search for the lead role of Alice in the 1992 romantic drama ‘That Night’, Eliza Dushku went on to establish a significant film career from a young age. Her early work included roles alongside acclaimed actors such as Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio in ‘This Boy’s Life’ (1993), and as the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jamie Lee Curtis in the 1994 action spy film ‘True Lies.’ She continued to build her filmography with appearances in movies like ‘Bye Bye Love’ (1995) and ‘Race the Sun’ (1996), demonstrating her versatility across diverse genres. Dushku achieved widespread recognition for her pivotal role as Faith in the supernatural drama series ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ (1998–2003).

Currently, she is a certified therapist, concentrating on trauma patients and actively advocating for the responsible use of psychedelics in mental health treatment. Her commitment to advocacy extends to serving on the board of THRIVE-Gulu, an organization dedicated to supporting war survivors in Northern Uganda, and actively fundraising for impactful programs such as Camp Hale.
