Emily Hope Morse was born on June 2, 1970. She earned two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Michigan, specializing in psychology and political science. Morse furthered her education at the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality in San Francisco, where she obtained a certificate in human sexuality. She also received training as a sex and relationship coach from the Somatica Institute in San Francisco. Her career is centered on open communication regarding sex and pleasure.
Morse launched her podcast, “Sex with Emily,” in 2005. This podcast has been in continuous production since its inception, making it a long-running platform in its field and recognized as the #1 sexuality podcast on Apple. In 2011, she published her first book, “Hot Sex: Over 200 Things You Can Try Tonight.” Her media presence expanded through guest expert appearances on various radio and television shows, and she has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, and San Francisco Chronicle for her insights.
From 2012, Morse held a four-year position as a guest co-host on the nationally syndicated “Loveline” radio show with Dr. Drew Pinsky. Her television appearances include a recurring role in Bravo’s series “Miss Advised” in 2012. She frequently contributes to major online publications including Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Ask Men, Popsugar, PattiKnows.com, Men’s Health, and Harper’s Bazaar. Since 2014, Morse has been the host of the Sexual Health Expo and also serves as a sexual health expert for Lifestyles. In 2021, she began teaching a MasterClass on sex and communication.
