Emma Willis, an English broadcaster, was born Emma Louise Griffiths on March 18, 1976, in Birmingham, West Midlands, England. She began her career in modelling at the age of 15, working for publications such as Marie Claire, Elle, Vogue, and brands including GAP and Chanel. Willis transitioned into television presenting in 2002, starting with MTV UK.
Her career continued to expand across various UK channels. On ITV, she co-presented ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! NOW!’ (2007–2008) and became a regular presenter on ‘This Morning’ (2012–2014, 2018). She also hosted ‘Prize Island’ (2013) and the talent competition ‘The Voice UK’ from its move to ITV in 2017 to the present, alongside its spin-off, ‘The Voice Kids UK’ (2017–2023). For Channel 5, Willis gained significant recognition as the host of ‘Big Brother’ and ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ (2013–2018), having previously hosted the spin-off ‘Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’ (2011–2015). On Channel 4, she hosted ‘The Circle’ (2019–2021).
Beyond her hosting roles, Willis has engaged in other professional endeavors. In 2015, she became a celebrity ambassador for Gillette Venus and Oral-B. Demonstrating a unique commitment to public service, she qualified as a Maternity Care Assistant in 2019 following her involvement in the W Channel series ‘Delivering Babies,’ which won an award for three consecutive years. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, she and her husband trained with St John Ambulance as vaccination volunteers.
