Canadian actress Erica Cerra has found international fame thanks to roles such as Deputy Jo Lupo in A Town Called Eureka and Becca/A.L.I.E in The 100. She has also played recurring roles in Supernatural (Duma), Deadly Class (Miss DeLuca), and most recently, The Astronauts (Connie Rivers). She has also appeared in films such as Power Rangers, Blade: Trinity, and Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief. Most recently, she voiced Susan, Greg’s mother, in the first two Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies.
Cerra was a child actor but took a break during her teenage years to simply enjoy being young. She returned in her mid-twenties and began to build a reputation with parts in classic shows of the time such as The L Word, Smallville, Battlestar Galactica, and many others. Her major break, however, came when she was cast as Jo Lupo in the Syfy series Eureka (known internationally as A Town Called Eureka), appearing in all five seasons. Between 2015 and 2020, she played an AI called A.L.I.E and its creator, Becca in The CW’s, The 100, which became rated as one of the best sci-fi series of all time during its five-season run.
Cerra has also developed a knack for appearing in a diverse array of successful films, such as 2019’s The Intruder. In 2021, she moved into big-screen voice-acting with a role in Diary of a Wimpy Kid and its 2022 sequel, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules. She has also recently appeared in several episodes of Family Law and made a guest appearance in The Good Doctor.
