Jeremy Strong

Jeremy Strong garnered critical acclaim early in his career after studying at Yale University and further honing his craft at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago. His foundational stage work included a role in John Patrick Shanley’s play ‘Defiance’ in 2006, leading to his Broadway debut in 2008 in ‘A Man for All Seasons’ alongside Frank Langella. Strong’s film career commenced with his debut in ‘Humboldt County’ in 2008, followed by roles as John George Nicolay in Steven Spielberg’s ‘Lincoln’ (2012) and in Kathryn Bigelow’s ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ (2012). He continued with impactful performances as Lee Harvey Oswald in ‘Parkland’ (2013), James Reeb in ‘Selma’ (2014), and Vinny Daniel in Adam McKay’s ‘The Big Short’ (2015).

In recent years, Strong has expanded his career further, making a triumphant return to Broadway in 2024 to lead Henrik Ibsen’s ‘An Enemy of the People.’ His performance garnered widespread critical acclaim, culminating in a prestigious Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Play. On screen, he delivered a compelling portrayal of Roy Cohn in the 2024 film ‘The Apprentice,’ which earned him multiple Best Supporting Actor nominations, further cementing his reputation for intense and transformative character work. Looking ahead, Strong is slated to appear in ‘Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere’ (2025) as music producer Jon Landau. He is also set to portray Mark Zuckerberg in ‘The Social Reckoning,’ a highly anticipated sequel to ‘The Social Network.’ Demonstrating his influence within the industry, Strong joined the esteemed Actors Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2025 and served as a jury member at the 78th Cannes Film Festival, highlighting his continued prominence and commitment to cinematic artistry.
